Owned and operated by Edmonton Airports, the Villeneuve Airport is home to 16 businesses and has 411 hectares of available land for development. The Villeneuve Airport is the primary flight-training facility in the Edmonton Region and is positioned to help aviation based businesses capitalize on Alberta ’s economic growth. Located in Sturgeon County ’s south-west corner, the Villeneuve Airport is only minutes from St. Albert and Edmonton and provides quick access to CN Rail’s Intermodal Site. Open 24 hours, the Villeneuve Airport has two 3,500 ft asphalt runways, paved roads throughout the business park and is surrounded by an extensive transportation network made up of major highways and rail lines. Pro North Industrial Park is situated on the south edge of Sturgeon County only five minutes from St. Albert and 35 minutes from downtown Edmonton. Legal Crossroads Industrial Park
Legal Crossroads Industrial park is situated adjacent to Highway 2. This park is best suited for light to medium rural industries requiring large areas of land. Industrial uses consist of Sturgeon Valley Fertilizer Plant, St. Denis Seed — Pea Plant, Alfalfa Processing Plant, Agricore grain elevators, and Champagne Edition, which produces recycled rubber flooring. The industrial uses are centered along the CN Rail spur for access to bulk transportation of goods. Champagne Edition is located on the western boundary of the Plan area and has access to Highway 2 via a service road.
Heritage Industrial Park
Heritage Industrial Park is located close to Morinville but is currently at capacity with no plans for expansion as of yet. There is currently no servicing to this business park.
