A robust, diverse, and stable economy helps Sturgeon’s residents become financially comfortable. 

Affordable living, low unemployment, support for innovative entrepreneurs, and a healthy mixture of growing prosperous industries results in a population generally well-positioned for their financial futures. Nearly 40 percent of residents are “Quiet Neighbours” with overall net worth 30 percent above the national average. County residents and visitors experience an excellent quality of life with a wide range of recreation activities and natural areas in close proximity.
